Managed virtual assistants · Trained in Africa · Working your hours
Hand off the work that never should have been yours.
We recruit, train, and supervise virtual assistants, then match one to your business. You get the help; we handle the hiring, the cover, and the quality.
Every assistant is supervised by a named account lead, with a backup who already knows your account.

How it works
Three steps, not a recruitment process
You should not have to run interviews to get help with your inbox. We do that part, and you meet a shortlist of one.
Tell us what you need
A short call about the work you want off your plate, the hours you need covered, and the tools you already use.
Meet your assistant
We match someone from our trained bench on skills, time zone, and working style, and introduce you before anything starts.
Settle in, then widen
Start with a defined set of tasks. As your assistant learns how you work, hand over more, or stop if the fit is wrong.
What your assistant can take on
What we take off your plate
Most clients start with one area and widen once the working relationship settles. You are not buying a fixed package of tasks.
Why AfriTech-Support
Managed, not marketplace
The difference between hiring a freelancer and hiring us is what happens when things go wrong.
We carry the employment risk
Recruiting, vetting, training, and replacing assistants is our problem, not yours. If someone leaves, their backup already knows your account.
Your hours, not ours
Assistants work the hours you need covered. Our teams sit between European and North American time zones, so most working days overlap in full.
Supervised work, written down
A named account lead reviews output and keeps a written record of how you like things done, so the knowledge stays with us when people change.
Who you are dealing with
The people behind the account
Small enough that you will know the names. The person who scopes your work is the person who runs it.

Questions
The things people ask before they commit
If something here is missing, the chat in the corner will either answer it or put you through to a person.
Where are your assistants based?
Across Africa, with our headquarters in Yaoundé, Cameroon. We say so plainly because it is the reason the rate works, and because you should know who is reading your inbox before you hand it over. We also hold registered entities in the United States, Canada and Germany, so contracting and invoicing are straightforward wherever you are.
Can someone work my hours if I am in the US or Europe?
Yes. You set the hours you need covered and we staff them. Central Africa Time sits one hour ahead of Berlin and six ahead of New York, so a European working day overlaps almost entirely and a US East Coast morning is covered comfortably. West Coast afternoons need a shifted schedule, which we will tell you before you commit rather than after.
What happens if the assistant is not a good fit?
You tell us and we rematch, at no cost. That is the reason the trial week exists: it is cheaper for both of us to find out in a week than in a quarter. Monthly plans are cancellable, so a bad fit costs you one month at most, and we would rather lose the month than argue about it.
What if my assistant is ill or on holiday?
A backup assistant is assigned to every account from the start, at no extra cost, and they have access to the same written notes on how you like things done. That is the practical difference between us and hiring a freelancer directly: their holiday is our problem to absorb, not yours.
How do you handle access to my accounts and data?
Access is scoped to what the work needs and no further, assistants sign confidentiality terms before they start, and offboarding follows a written checklist when someone leaves an account. We prefer you grant access through a password manager rather than sending credentials, and we will ask for that if you do not suggest it. If you need your own NDA or a data-processing agreement, send it over.
When do I pay, and can I stop?
Payment is in advance and work starts once it clears. Monthly plans are invoiced at the start of each period and renew until you cancel. Hourly work is paid up front against an agreed number of hours, and when those run out we ask before doing more. There is no notice period and no minimum term beyond the period you have already paid for.
